What makes a published dataset a "good" dataset?

What are mandatory elements in the dataset I should check for?

What are typical data quality indicators a published dataset should provide and fulfil?

Hi, the following criteria should be considered:

- Data sets should be published with high quality metadata such as full text titles (instead of acronyms), mentioning of own or related projects and/or working groups, DFG classification (if applicable), as well as clear information on data reuse (license information) and contact information.

- Metadata should also include link/DOI to published articles related to the data set (if applicable) where more information on the research contect of the author/working group can be found.

- Data sets should also contain detailed workflow/measurement descriptions (in addition to factual data sheets) and mention/link software used for processing/analysis (if applicable).
